Disney Pixar's Advanced Screening Of Wreck It Ralph

Thursday night we were invited to attend Disney Pixar’s advanced screening of Wreck It Ralph in New Brunswick New Jersey AMC Lowes Theater  I decided to bring Max as a treat instead of my husband. As we walked in we were asked to get a 3D glasses and Max screamed, “My first 3D movie mama!” He was so excited and I was so excited for him. We met up with another fellow blogger and close friend and watched. There was a short movie Paperman in the beginning where even Max said, “Awe” :D

As the film progressed, I looked over at Max with his mouth wide open or a big smile. He was captured by the cool story. Funny and sweet story line definitely surprised me on how much I loved the movie. I wished my husband and Dean came along. :D But they were too busy having their own Daddy and me date night :D Towards the end of the movie we cheered for the characters and were extremely happy when it ended. My review does not fully count without my 4 year old’s honest review. He stated with a big smile, “Mama, we need to buy anything Wreck It Ralph! I love the movie, I want to watch it with Daddy and Dean!” He also repeated quotes from the movie and named his favorite parts. I even found myself telling my husband about my favorite parts and he told me to stop because he also NOW wants to see it. Jealous Daddy should have come along with us. Wreck It Ralph is definitely a great movie to see whether you are on a date, with your children, young and old everyone will enjoy this great film!

State Of Emergency In NJ For Sandy

Is this storm going to be as annoying as sand in my underwear? I say YES! We are prepared in our home. Husband has been cleaning up the backyard for children's toys, patio furniture, and other items that are a potential hazard when winds pick up. I've heard in Central New Jersey area the winds can pick up to 70 mph! Sandy is going to be a hassle for the states and the surrounding states for sure. Power outages that can take up to a week or more to fix. Also a sad note on the children is that if there's a big enough mess that can harm them Halloween could be canceled. I hope not...It's my favorite holiday too. :/ But all that aside, I feel we are good and prepared. I've called my parents who live relatively close to make sure they are okay too. I guess best thing to do now is to prepare for the worst. Better safe than sorry. Especially when there are young children and the elderly are involved. Prepare yourselves and your home people and please be safe!

Nutella S'mores Crepes

Nutella S’mores Crepes WOW! Well another pregnancy craving! lol I usually make my usual Nutella and banana crepes but that was getting boring so here is a twist to that!

What You'll Need:
2 cups flour
4 eggs
1 1/4 cup milk
Cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter, melted

Marshmallows [cut them into small pieces]
Graham crackers [crush them]

[I like folding them and just shoving it in my mouth before the kids see it lol]

Mix all the top ingrediants together. Heat a frying pan on medium heat. Grease the pan with cooking spray works best then pour 1/3 cup of batter. Rotate the pan in the air to cover the whole pan making it look like a thin pancake. Cook until edge curls up a bit then flip for two extra seconds. Then add the Nutella spread, then the crushed graham crackers and chopped marshmallows. You have a mini portal burner or a lighter lol...toast the marshmallows then fold and seal. Cut in four or two and serve! Enjoy everyone!

Water Colour Review

This is a great App to open you or your child's world of water color. Not only fun and colorful, but educational. This book App has seven lessons in water color: 1. Basic brushstrokes 2. Feather brushstroke 3. Roses and buds 4. Underpainting 5. Deciduous trees 6. Coniferous trees 7. Marine [seascape.] When I downloaded this App Water Colour for my son he was immediately interested in painting. So we went to the store and got a few supplies. He is enjoying ways to make art and expressing his "boy views" in painting cars and buildings. I love it because he is free to make any paintings and feel proud of them. Ive got a mini Picasso over here and I thank Water Colour App for the awesome App that opened my families eyes up to water color paintings!

Keep connected with Water Colour Book App by liking them on Facebook and you can get their App here.

My Baby Bump Journal: Week 21

[Last year October 24th pregnant w Dean 30 weeks & 2 Days]

I made it!...Well half way through my pregnancy. I feel like this just happened...LAST YEAR! [because it did.] Can you remember what you were doing a year ago? I sure did. Was relaxing with Max at my dad's house with Dean still baking. That's pretty much it. :D

Now October 24th 2012...

[20 weeks feeling not so super in the morning]

When you have two kids and are pregnant its like coming home from a one night stand...with half my make up still on [raccoon eyes], the same clothes as yesterday [where the hell are my pants?!], messy bed hair, feel like a total mess, and where COFFEE ISNT GONNA HIDE ALL THE UGLY SH*T THAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY! [baby throw up, cooking dinner mess in the kitchen, husband tried to change a poopy cloth diaper and i ended up cleaning the rug and child.] For those who think I make having two kids and being pregnant look good thanks! lol...ughkkk but I sure feel like sh*t in the mornings. lol Halfway through 20 more weeks before the real test begins...lovely lol. Even super moms   have crappy days. :P

Clever Ads I

Another clever ad from Luvs... I am glad to see second time moms do get the hang of having children. Also awesome to see babywearing coming out in the media... But really are the infantino froward facing carries all they can show? It really isn't good to have a child dangling on their crotch like that... But that is another topic post.

DIY Glow In The Dark Jars

What You'll Need:
Glow in the dark necklace/bracelet/sticks [get from dollar stores]
Chilled jars
old clothes

First an adult must do this! Not a craft a child should be involved in. Make sure you have old clothes on just in case you spill any on your shirt/pants. Put your gloves and goggles on. Cut the glow in the dark sticks and place the liquid in the jar. Adding a little water makes the water last a little longer. Also having the jars chilled in the freezer before hand helps! Mix the colors to make other shades. Enjoy!

Disney's Iron Man 3 Trailer

Disney's Iron Man 3 movie trailer is out!

Coming to theaters May 3rd, 2013.

Milwaukee Cop Did What

Oh dear lord! Though I found this article disturbing and odd...what in the hell was this guy thinking?! A Milwaukee cop well several cops [three] were charged of illegally fingering suspects rectums. I honestly don't know what to say. Someone supposed to protect us does these things makes the rest of the awesomely great cops out there look bad. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! It also said that they [Milwaukee Police Department] had known about these crazy activities for several years and did not prosecute Vagnini and the other officers until they found a "patter." A "pattern" isn't two enough?! That was ridiculousness ! Vagnini and the other officers SHAME ON YOU!

Clever Ads

What did y'all think? Breastfeeding mamas or not? Cloth diapering parents or not?...
I personally never had a problem breastfeeding whether it be my first or third child.
But definitely true by the second child you got the hang of it all. lol
As for the diapering clever ad Luvs we did use them for a while until we fully converted to cloth.
And if we were to use disposables we would gravitate to Seventh Generation diapers or Earths Best.

Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops Review

I've heard of Pine Bro's Softish Throat Drops from several people prior to doing this review. All I can say is that I was loving it when I popped one in my mouth. Definitely in the middle of a gummy and a hard cough drop and the taste was awesome. My family loved the Wild Cherry. My father in law is an avid throat drops popper :D and enjoyed the taste and its natural healing effects. He said, "You need to do more reviews for this product and get more!" And I told him you can buy them now in every store!

Their Story...
Ulysses S. Grant was President, the population of America hovered at 39 million, and the telephone was still a pipe dream, when in 1870 J. Herman Pine hung out a confectionery shingle on 8th Street above Walnut in Philadelphia and, along with his brother, sold their first batch of what they called 'Pine Brothers Glycerine Tablets.' In an attempt to relieve his own sore throat and those of his family members, Mr. Pine, a former German confectionery maker, determined that by combining the soothing natural qualities of glycerin with the healing properties of gum acacia, he could sooth and mitigate the mild discomfort of a sore throat. Add in some natural flavoring and a sweetener and voila, Pine Brothers Softish Throat Drops were born.

Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

I've been craving cinnamon buns and I looked for a way to make them that would be different and fun. So here's the recipe enjoy!
What You'll Need:
[makes about 8]
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1 Tablespoon canola oil
1 large egg, lightly beaten

Cinnamon filling:
1/2 cup butter
melted 3/4 cup brown sugar
 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon

Cream Cheese Glaze:
4 Tablespoons butter
2 ounces cream cheese
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk in milk, oil and egg, just until batter is moistened. In a medium bowl, mix butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Pour filling into a pastry bag cut a small hole. Set aside it best if it becomes a consistency similar to toothpaste.
In a medium, microwave-safe bowl- heat butter and cream cheese until melted. Whisk together until smooth; whisk in powdered sugar and vanilla extract; set aside. Heat large skillet over medium-low heat. Spray with nonstick spray. Scoop the batter onto the skillet; when pancake has started to cook a little, swirl in the cinnamon filling. When bubbles begin to appear on the surface, flip carefully, and cook until browned on the underside, 1 to 2 minutes more. When done, put pancakes on a plate and glaze the delicious glaze on top ALL OVER. ENJOY!

Mini Red Velvet Molten Cake

I had the worst craving for sweets last weekend. With this pregnancy I prefer the salty and nonsweets for treats. So I went all out. Craved Chilli's Molten Lava Cake...so I made my own. A Mini Red Velvet Molten Lava Cake with Cookie Dough Ice Cream with Chocolate Drizzle. This will make everyone in the house gather in the next room drooling while they wait. I know my husband sent Max down the kitchen to spy on what I was making. Sneaky guys! >.< Anyways...here's a quick version.

What You'll Need:
Red Velvet Cake mix [eggs, water, veg. oil]
Ice cream [whatever flavor]
Chocolate Syrup
Hot Fudge [jar from a store]
Cup cake pan
Cup cake liners
Mixer/egg beater
Baking spray

I made everything from scratch because I'm a nut job lol. But this is a quick way to do it too. Nothing too fancy just bake, prepare, and inhale. So, Preheat the oven to whatever the box says. Make your red velvet cake mix. Spray the cupcake pan with baking spray and put the cupcake liners on. Put batter in the pan, bake, and wait to cool off after done baking. Peel the liners off turn them upside down cut a circular hole on the top add the hot fudge. Scoop of ice cream on and add the chocolate drizzle on top. You can even add whip cream and a cherry on top but this was prefect for a mini dessert. Again Enjoy!
