Love and Marriage

"Love and marriage, love and marriage, go together like a horse and carriage. This, I tell ya brother, you cant have one with out the other." -Frank Sinatra.

I wish I can tell you my love life/married life is perfect and it's for everyone to try. Some people can live a life of solitude or single and dating. Personally I can't. I dated young, loved and lost. Been in almost every possible type of relationship. I'm a woman but I'm not cushy or anything like that. So here's the story, our story. Before I 're met' my now husband I previously lived in and was in a relationship for 5 years. I ended up hanging out with Rad and liking him more and more. Within 4 months of dating we got pregnant. This was very difficult. The trails and tribulations that we were about to endeavor will either drive u apart or make us stronger. Thank GOD we lived through it. November 2008, our first son Max was born. Strong, healthy, and very lively. We were proud.

The thought of marriage came up several times. We both were fine with the idea of taking things slow. Then in January 2011 we finally got married. In Rad's family church in Linden. It was a beautiful family only ceremony and filled with so much love. We knew we were ready to embark our lives not only as a family but as a married couple. I know we did things ass backwards, but it was right for us. Now as I previously stated we are due to have another little boy in December. So many things happens in our daily lives that makes me wanna scream WHY?! but it all turns out well in the end. Well I guess this will have to continue another day. Im tired, my son needs to be put to bed, and I still need to do laundry. Ah life as a mom and wife, never really ends does it. I signed the papers, I guess I'd just have to live with it. lol.

Dear Pregnancy You Suck

Don't get me wrong I love being pregnant. This is my second pregnancy and I'd like to say, "YOU SUCK!" The first trimester was hell. I couldn't eat, every smell was driving me nuts! Everything was gross and I lose 20 pounds. You hear about pregnancy food cravings both normal and odd. As for me it was the total opposite! I had food aversion that lasted until my 25th week of pregnancy. Even though I had lost 20 pounds every prenatal appointment went well. Every blood test done was normal. Only concern is eating protein.

I substituted chicken and beef with tofu. Fried tofu was the bomb! Fried tofu and stir fry was incredible! I made fried tofu in the oven, so technically its baked. Baked but still deliciously crispy! I would preheat the oven at 400 degrees. Cut cubes of tofu and lightly salt it and coat with olive oil. Put it in the oven every couple of minutes I'd brush coat it with more olive oil. It will crisp up and taste great. Something delicious and healthy. I would eat it with a cup of brown rice. A great meal!

First Day and Stuff

I guess this is a good first day to start a blog. My name is Cher, I am 25 years old, and I've been married since January 22, 2011. I have a 3 year old son named Max and another one on the way. I've been a stay at home mom since 2008 and I'm lucky to still be alive. Since I am expecting another boy I will be blogging about my pregnancy, things that are funny about my experience and children. So I'll keep on writing wether or not someone reads. Its my outlet for my craziness so I guess you'll just have to bare...

As a stay at home mom I get to do whatever I WANT! Like sleep all day, be lazy, leave a bowl of food for the kid so he doesnt go hungry. Chyeah ok...No I DONT GET TO DO WHATEVER THE HELL I WANT TO DO. You know because of responsicibilities and I dont want dyfs all over my family like white on rice. I am lucky my husband doesnt force me to wake up and do my motherly duties immediately. Max is usually awake 8am. Things happen with him and Daddy, i dont know what but something does. I wake up at 9 before Daddy goes to work I make yum yums for Max and I. I guess I feed the fetus too. I do my usual I gotta pee like a pregnant race horse brusha my teefus and play with Max. We do our "school" stuff for an hour and then break. We do our crazy dance to loud clubbing music for "gym time" and artistic stuff like draw and paint. Somewhere in there is two snack times and lunch. We are powered by crazy and water/milk. If we're lucky enough to get out I let him go nuts at Toysrus for two hours I dont know what he does since most toys are in boxes. Go to the park, the library, and or visit a friend. Max and I are honest to God attention whores. Making funny faces when we take pictures. Love going out and being around people. Thats all I feel like blogging about today. I think. Later or tomorrow I'll talk more about my pregnancy, that definately deserves its own day and blog!
