Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving this year started of like every other day. We were invited to go have dinner at my aunts at 5, so this will be a long day waiting for some delisciouse food. The kids were excited to go and when we finally went all that waiting was worth it! We had a Filipino type Thanksgiving. We had a lechon, a whole roasted pig sooo good! Lumpia, fried spring roll also soooo good my boys favourite! Pancit, noodle dish and many more.

We spent time talking, catching up with everybodys life. It was wonderful. We even got to watch a movie all of the cousins under blankets. We had desserts...the kids ran around. Everyone had fun. We cant wait for Christmas! Most of all we are thankful to spend time with my husband who was off Thanksgiving and Black Friday. THANK GOD!

Petition No Work On Thanksgiving

I personally don't work, but a few of my friends do. This entire working on Thanksgiving honestly sucks. It leads to Black Friday shopping. Workers in the malls are stuck working, while the rest of their families are at home celebrating a federal holiday. Also most likely they will be working on Black Friday too God knows til 2am! I have families and friends that work in the mall and its frustrating to have several empty chairs due to Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping.

24 year old Anthony Rivera has started a petition for Simon Malls-Menlo Park Mall to remain closed on Thanksgiving or Opem at 2 am on Black Friday, not open both days. The holiday schedule is demanding as it is but should the families of the workers suffer too? I think not! If you are a local and care to make a difference whether you have a friend or not that works in Menlo Mall, sign this petition! Thanksgiving is for families not shopping for great deals.

And I'm Back

Its been a while since I last truly blogged. Since having my third son Nathan who is an absolute nutter I love him...life has thrown my family and I in so many different directions just thinking about it confuses me. There has been great times, fun times like Nathan's Baptism and having my cousin from California fly in. There has also been the absolute worst times like my miscarriage with the twins. I will blog about that later this week.

Being absent via blog has been really hard. I use it as an outlet for my feelings and to "store" my everyday life with my family. So for those who have been following I am on Instagram, that has been a quick way to picturally blog about my everyday life with the children. Again, as I said up top I will be blogging more about what has happened these past 8 months. Thank you for those who have reached out.

Lots of love
Cher
