School Time

"I wanna go to school Mommy!" -Max

It's the time in my life where my 3 year old wants to get away from me lol. But at least he wants to get away to school. I've been taking Max to Pre School Story Hour at our local library. I know its not an actual school but he learns something from reading and he gets to socialize for an hour. :D I'm all about teaching my children and learning how to better yourself! I got Max some Pre K and Kindergarden workbooks. He already knew his numbers and alphabets, shapes and colors, but he showed interest in writing so we practiced tracing and writing. He enjoyed himself and I couldn't ask for more for him to have fun while he learns! I never forced him and I love it! My only wish that all my kids are super smart and get mucho scholarships and get a free ride [financially] through college. Crossing fingers! :D

Summer Blog Challenge Day 6

Nicknames you have and why you have them.

First nickname I ever had was Che. Che because it's short for my first name and it's a Filipino common nickname. Only filipinos or family members call me Che. Second nickname is Cher. Also shorter form of my longer name my old classmates named me. My third is Cherry. When I used to live in the south [Georgia] for some odd reason they just thought that name was better. Lol Also every other southerner I've met when I told them my name they ask, "so can I call you Cherry?" I don't know why but it just is. :D

Mommy's Little Big Helper

"I'm Mommy's little big boy helper!" -Max

As Maxwell grows each day he is interested in what Mommy, Daddy, and other grown ups do. So I decided 3.5 is definitely a great time to be my little big helper. For tonight's dinner...chicken breast cutlets. Max honestly did everything but slice and chicken and cook them. Max is a great line cook and prepping! 

My simpler recipe for chicken cutlets:

slice chicken

salt and pepper

2-3 eggs scrambled

dunk chicken in scrambled eggs

bread crumbs

dunk chicken in scrambled eggs

fry or bake

Short term goals for this month, and why these goals.

My short term goal for the month of June is to just simply get my room and closet organized. Why? Because I totally forgot ok...ok I totally got lazy for spring cleaning. Hahaha.
