Hunger Action Month

The month of September is Hunger Action Month when the Feeding America network of more than 200 food banks and individuals across the country unite to take action in their communities. With nearly 49 million people facing hunger nationwide, food insecurity touches our neighbors, friends and co-workers. By raising our voices on their behalf, we’re showing them that they don’t have to struggle in silence. Here are three easy steps you can take to Speak Out Against Hunger™:

Go Orange. Tomorrow is September 6. Join us by wearing the color orange.

Find. Find your local food bank and see a calendar of events in your community.

Share. Watch our Hungry Kate video and spread the word about how even ordinary kids are struggling with hunger.
